Vineyards CERT Team (VICTOR) Seeking Volunteers NAPLES, Fla. (July 20, 2007) – Team Victor, the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) that serves Vineyards, is recruiting volunteers to become first responders during hurricanes or other disasters. A seven-week training session will begin at the North Naples Fire Department on Aug. 7. After a hurricane, CERT members assist fire and rescue personnel by doing everything from clearing roads for emergency vehicles to assisting injured or ill homeowners and participate in search and rescue. The Vineyards team is one of 26 CERTs serving North Naples. Team VICTOR has 32 members trained in search and rescue techniques and life-saving medical skills. Volunteers should be year-round residents who are at least 18 years old and in good health.
