Premier Builders Warranty Claim Request

Emergencies
Emergencies are defined as follows: heat, air conditioning, severe plumbing problem, hazardous electrical problem, or any situation that potentially endangers body or home. In case of an emergency problem, the homeowner must notify the builder immediately in order that further damages can be mitigated. The homeowner should take immediate action if circumstances dictate so.

The Warranty Department is authorized to accept only emergency calls by phone. All other warranty claims must be submitted in writing.

Emergency service calls after regular business hours should be directed to the subcontractor. A list of your subcontractors is included in your warranty information pack.

Warranty Claim Procedures
Please review these important facts about your one year warranty before submitting a warranty claim

  • Warranty Claims must be submitted in writing to the builder within a reasonable period of time.
  • Access for repair or service must be provided within normal working hours.
  • Contracts allow ten working days for subcontractors to make scheduled arrangements for general requests.
  • A safe and happy home requires continued care and maintenance by the homeowner.

What Should the Homeowner Do ?
If the homeowner finds defect of any item covered by the warranty during the warranty period, the homeowner must submit a written claim to the builder stating the date on which the defect occurred. Claim forms are available at the Warranty Department or you may file your claim directly here, on-line. Please include the following information with each warranty claim submittal: name, address, phone numbers, preferred times & access arrangements, written and detailed description of the problem.

Access to Premises
The homeowner agrees to provide access to, on, through or within the premises during reasonable workday hours. Warranty service work cannot be performed in any home without the homeowner or representative present unless a waiver is signed and on file. The builder will not hold keys for any home unless a waiver is signed.
